Working Holiday Scheme (WHS)

The Working Holiday Scheme offers an opportunity for young people between 18 and 30 years of age to experience a working holiday in New Zealand.

New Zealand along with 18 other countries have a reciprocal agreement which allows people to work in another country for a limited time period. Application for this scheme must be completed prior to leaving your home country.

Variation of Condition (VOC)

The New Zealand visitor permit or Visa status now allows visitors to work for companies from December through until May. You will need to apply for a Variation to Condition once you have arrived in New Zealand and completed a job application form. The permit must be accompanied by a job offer from JM Bostock Ltd. The New Zealand Immigration Services charge NZ$145.00 to process the application.
